Re: Luka Magnotta 1 Lunatic 1 Ice Pick Murder Video
The video with the kittens (which I refuse to watch) makes me far more uncomfortable than Luka dining on the other guy's ass or anything else on this site for that matter. I'm thankful that DR doesn't allow animal cruelty content here.

That's sort of the irony of the premise they start with and what it's titled as such. You can maim, mangle, blowup, run down, cut up, behead and dine on humans... ... but don't fuck with cats. I was actually unaware entirely of how large the effort was prior to his killing a person. |

Re: Luka Magnotta 1 Lunatic 1 Ice Pick Murder Video
SPOILER ALERT - just in case anyone here cares about that sort of thing. What I found entirely crazy, in that weird gotcha moment at the end was the reveal of Manny. Like, I knew there was the mysterious shadow of this guy and how he was likely using it as a scapegoat.... but the tracks laid down by Luka almost 2 YEARS prior to the killing. Like, even among serial killers such as Ridgeway or Dahmer, that's seriously diabolical. His ability to move countries could have made him a global threat and instead, he stupidly needs to appreciate his own diabolical-ess-ness. Netflix crime documentaries have really been stellar. I feel like despite all the coverage on this case, they pulled tidbits together well much like they did with the Heist. THAT was a twisting, turning but entirely well done documentary that pulled all these bits together into a coherent story. The heartbreak - as a mom myself - was the true denial of his mother when she's a screw loose on top of it. I can only imagine the depths of despair most parents of men of this type deal with, but because Luka not only was able to lay the Manny path down, but convince so many OTHER adults in this situation of his existence until the very last moment, it's more "hope" for her to cling on to than most. She seems like a nice enough lady. The documentary leaves out that she says she is estranged from him now - because even if she believed in the boogeyman, Luka still did these things. I mean, his mom and dad were babies themselves when he was born, obsessed with movies naming him after two huge male movie stars and his dad is a diagnosed schizo. Though, perhaps I missed it, but did they ever reveal the third hand? I almost feel, as much as Luka did to scheme this and set up Manny, he might have actually set this up with a fake hand/mannequin hand. |
