I heard a story of a guy that fell into a steel furnace, and landed on the hard crust of the steel. His quick thinking and incredibly brave friend set a ladder on the crust, climbed down, and carried the buy back up and out of the furnace. What a huge set of balls that took!
This HAD to have hurt a LOT! Like a hamburger hitting the surface of the grill.

You wouldn't be trying to pull my leg now would you? It's around 2500 degrees F. down there.
