That's no grenade. It looks like a large caliber bullet to me, 50 cal probably, he strikes the firing pin and it discharges the lead into his chest, the brass explodes in his hand like a grenade. |

The other guy (bending over) gets a piece of lighter colored shrapnel sticking out on the back of his jacket. I wonder if it is a hand bone or maybe a piece of the rock the guy was holding. I'm guessing light weight hand bone because it doesn't fall off and probably hadn't pierced the guys skin, he doesn't check it.

Im guessing either static discharge or maybe a cigarette in his mouth set it off. It was 100% high explosive to cause that amount of damage in such a small package. His flailing was due to suffocation from the blood filling his lungs. The foamed puddle of coagulated blood in the aftermath footage proves that... |
