Re: Jump into Aerated Water and Die
Took me 20 minutes of exhaustive effort to free myself from a swirling eddy in the Connecticut River while tubing once so imagine being caught in a body of water with 1000 concentrated swirling eddies, and no luxury of a tube? |

Re: Jump into Aerated Water and Die
The same thing nearly happened to me many years ago. After several weeks of intense practice, I had finally won the burrito eating contest at our county fair. To celebrate (and start getting back into shape), I decided to go for a swim at the local beach. Little did I know that in less than an hour, I would find myself in a life or death struggle not to become permanently submersed beneath the water because of my own flatulence. Sure it's embarrassing to admit, but I knew I was fortunate to have lived to tell the tale. In the memory of those who were less fortunate, I decided I should share my story in the hope that it will increase the public's awareness of this silent but deadly killer. Please feel free to release if it is deemed appropriate to do so. Thank you. |

Re: Jump into Aerated Water and Die
Exactly what I was thinking. It's not like anyone will jump in and rescue you if shit goes south. They should've hade some kind of safety precausion. But you would need a brain to come to that sort of conclusion. |

Re: Jump into Aerated Water and Die
First video looked like the guy eventually went off a waterfall after struggling with the aerated water making it hard to float or swim. Second vid looked like the dude got caught in a reverse hydraulic that flowed upstream and he tried to fight it and lost. |
