I believe he drank an antiemetic. The suicide kits amazon got sued for selling to children included "sodium nitrite, an antiemetic, and a suicide instruction booklet"

Benzo is an entire class of drugs, not a specific certain one. Which were you thinking of? 4mg of temazepam (Restoril), let's say, is about as sedating as an adorable little kitten slow-blinking for 45 seconds. On the other hand, 4mg of alprazolam (2 "Zanny Bars") is similar to watching the equivalent of 128 hours of C•SPAN on a little black and white television in ten minutes.
