They live like rats in a concrete cage, with nothing but time up their sleeves to study every inch of the place they are locked up. Trust me, these sicarios know where every guard, gate and camera is in those buildings ....... and they just didn't care about it. They knew it was being captured by CCTV, and they knew that El Presidente would no doubt show his "appreciation" to the inmates involved - because they assassinated the snitch who either sold (or was about to sell) his brother down the river. Every facet of that execution was situationally choreographed & managed. The 3 guards in black had him front and centre with his back against the wall, and they stood in front to further limit his egress or retreat options. The actor in the balaclava then walks cleanly around the perimeter of the intended kill zone and unlocks the door - behind which the assassins are cocked and locked. Within a mere second of breaching, the target is acquired and hit. The guards scatter and the killers have no interest in harming them, simply gesturing to them to "stay the fuck out of this - because it is way above your pay grade Mr Jailer". The overkill aspect (courtesy of an extended magazine clip) comes as a result of the Homey feeling that cold steel in his hands once again and he's enjoying the recoil as well as the unmitigated rush that results, when a born thug is again given the power to annihilate another human being. The two homeys who are running around with knives - like excited teenagers who just got their first blowjob, are simply an insurance policy - in case the gun jammed or exploded like a cheap chinese firecracker, you have a double redundancy that will have the target bleed out before the Special Operation Group can get a back up team in there to de-escalate things. They knew the cameras were there alright - and in one fell swoop they made a friend of El Presidente; probably earned some extra prison privileges & commissary; and increased their prison reputation and cache' amongst the brethren on the cell block. VIVA LA RAZA ! |
