Inmates Get the Drop on Would Be Snitch
San Pedro Sula, Honduras — An inmate involved in the trial of the brother of Honduran president Juan Orlando Hernández has been stabbed and shot to death in a maximum security prison. CCTV footage of the incident shows ex-narco Nery López Sanabria, also known as Magdaleno Meza Fúnez, get ambushed by other inmates in El Pozo prison on Saturday. One inmate opens fire on Fúnez, shooting him over thirty times in the head, while two other convicts repeatedly stab him in the back and legs. Fúnez’s lawyer, Carlos Chajtur, claims his client was attacked by men trying to stop him from talking about the information on drug deals he had in several notebooks, in case he was called to testify in the United States. Antonio “Tony” Hernández, the president’s younger brother, was found guilty of drug trafficking in a New York jail earlier in October. |

Surprise ending. I was waiting for the guards to beat the inmate with those batons. This video gets my nomination for most blood spray from pistol bullets. After a few bullets and all that spray, you think the shooter would conserve ammo. Maybe inmates have concrete slab cracking ammo crate stashes in Honduran prisons. Weird how the inmates had no beef with the guards, but they really wanted to kill that guy... |

Imagine the guy carving at the end, what he could do with a free 20 seconds alone with you and that long blade... He was showing off all the techniques usually used on living people, imagine getting your calf opened up to the bone... then those gut stabs... he gets the blade deep and moves it around for good measure... even though he's clearly dead at this point you can tell he's accustomed to doing that to living subjects. |

Dude with the knife belongs in a psych ward, not a prison. Now I get that it's not an exaggeration when people describe some killers like 'a rabid animal'.
