He received shock for a fraction of a second which isn't enough to cause any severe internal burns from high voltage line. All he needed was a CPR to revive his heart beat instead of feat rubs. Also if he didn't chose to leave his sandals outside the porch, he could still be alive unless they were also wet.

So, CPR in India is rubbing your hands and feet? I am not surprised at all. I think one of those humanitarian companies should teach them basic lifesaving skills along with giving out whatever else they bring. But then again, they are overpopulated so maybe they should just stay with hands and feet rubbing!
