Re: India: Multiple Dead in Head On Collision
Have you read Mayo's book, "Mother India"? It's nearly 100 years old, but I wonder how much has changed since it was written.

Re: India: Multiple Dead in Head On Collision
As opposed to the US where 400,000 people have died from COVID and our ex President spent a year saying “it’s not a big deal, masks look stupid, now go back to work”...

Re: India: Multiple Dead in Head On Collision
You cant substantiate that with an example, or do you ? India's covid death count is 154K for a population of 1.3 B and compare it with US now. India got its own vaccine and started the largest vaccination drive.Big population have bigger problems to deal with specially when you are ripped off for centuries by British looters. Meanwhile you have to deal with people not willing to wear masks when Great USA has the biggest death toll in the world. ( I love USA as a nation though)

Re: India: Multiple Dead in Head On Collision
In a nation of 1.3 billion people, 400,000 constitutes .03 percent of the population. This in a nation which has the largest undernourished population in the world with 196 million people going hungry every day according to an Indian source, and where one in four children are malnourished. Oh yes, and about 60,000 per year routinely die of snakebites. It's not about COVID. |

Re: India: Multiple Dead in Head On Collision
I stated in my earlier comment with bigger population you have bigger problems to deal with.We can keep stretching the cliché and generalization like how we dont have enough toilets here and you don't have enough toilet papers there |
