He gave them plenty of warning, they all turned, "fainting goat" and just stood there. He drove the truck right off a CLIFF trying to avoid them, so id say he did more than most would have!
But did he check his brakes before leaving the depot?

Seriously though...1. Driverless trucks would be good. And 2. Living(or dying in this case) in a system that makes a company try to save a buck by not using safe equipment or having redundancies in place is a bit of a shit.

I can understand the faulty brakes but what about the horn?

They could have heard him mile away if the idiot used his horn.
Chinese culture, saving face, he didn't want to appear to have lost control of his situation so he didn't beep the horn until the last second.

Like a stupid fuck he was hoping allah or Buddha or whomever, would appear from somewhere and sort his shit out........
