From the available reports on the ICE agent fatal shooting of Renee Good in Minneapolis, the situation is deeply divisive and people are unlikely to agree because they’re interpreting the same events through completely different lenses.

From one perspective, the ICE agent was struck by the vehicle, suffering internal injuries, and that under federal use-of-force policy a law enforcement officer is allowed to use deadly force if they reasonably believe their life is in danger.

Yes. And that was good for the mods to close it. I think in situations like this honestly it becomes too political and too personal. I think at least out of respect for the person killed the threads should be closed so that just the video and facts and all that is on the thread. As wondermama pointed out to me, some of the information and rumors going around are false and misinformation so I appreciate her correcting me on that at least, so that I can take back what I said about the child abuse allegations. Nothing infuriates me more than people who harm kids.
