Re: I Believe I Can Dive

I give that dive a solid 4. Bad form and too much splash.

Re: I Believe I Can Dive

I watched it with headphones and it sounded like he was moaning towards the end of the video.
You're right, I heard some moaning near the end. And the kind that's sort of involuntary, common with those after receiving a concussion. He's alive, but definitely in much pain. Probably sustained a couple broken bones and internal bleeding. He's lucky if he survived.

I wonder if he was trying to off himself, or doing it for sport/a rush.

Re: I Believe I Can Dive

I'll bet he got a huge salt water enema on impact.
So good in fact, that it cleared that stubborn ear wax problem he had suffered from for years.

Re: I Believe I Can Dive

He was in free fall for 4 seconds. The speed of acceleration during free fall on earth is 9.8 metres per second squared. At the end of 4 seconds he'd be going 78 metres per second or roughly 280km/hr.
So he be going from 280km/hr to a dead stop in a fraction of a second. There's simply no chance he could survive. His brain was probably mush.
