Because it's in Yemen. Are you seriously not aware that the United States has been helping Saudi Arabia commit genocide in Yemen for the past 3 years? Here's what's going on: The United States government is providing weapons, intelligence, and bombs, and helping refuel bomber jets for the Saudi Arabian pile of shit government. They are doing this because they are corrupt scumbags that care only about $$$ and not about morality. This is why Trump does not care that Saudi Prince recently ordered the murder of American Journalist Jemal Khashoggi. Trump has publicly stated that there is too much money at stake to hold Saudi Arabia accountable, even though they murder an American Journalist. Yemen, has received a plethora of bombs on their innocent civilians thanks to good ol' USA. They are being wiped out on their own land by the Saudi's and it's absolutely NO surprise that every single citizen would be armed in Yemen. Additionally, if you are asking why a hotel in Yemen has to have assault rifles, do you ask why every single American resident also needs to own assault rifles???? |

My only correction to your comment is that the killed journalist was not American. He was a contributing Washington Post journalist who was formerly Saudi but got a green card to live in the US after he fled Saudi Arabia in 2017. So, technically he was just a legal resident alien. |

Receptionist shot himself with the last rifle as he was about to hand over by holding it upside down highly probability with his finger inside the trigger guard. And gutshot, must have been really painful judging by the scream... |
