Yep, I saw that too. I think the sniper aimed for the cylinder of the revolver, then the same bullet hit the guys head. Revolvers close shut and there is usually a thumb release needed to open the cylinder. If he blew the guys brains out, it would only require a light touch on the cocked revolver trigger from the convulsing dead guy to set it off. But if he hits the cylinder, the gun won't go off. I don't know anything about hostage situations or using snipers in them, but thats where I would aim at 50 meters. If you miss the cylinder, you still have a good chance of hitting the revolver or his hand. Or Elvis might have a been the 'Second Sniper'... |
