I've been in this situation; we were beating each other with fire pokers and mine broke, when I realized he still had his, I Instinctively ran up to him to start grappling, that made him drop his shit to get hands on I wouldn't recommend any conflicts, avoid when and if you can.  |

I lived in the ghetto and once saw a knife vs screwdriver fight. I don’t think it was deadly though. Screwdriver won but got his arms sliced up bad and fled. The other was laid out with a screwdriver stuck in his back. Sheriffs and ambulance came. Shit was crazy. |

Taking the helmet off does seem fucking stupid and counter intuitive, but people do absurd things when they panic. I’ve seen a number of inexperienced divers spit their regulator (Er, the thing keeping them alive) and head to the surface at the first sign of trouble.
