I can't understand any interest the police would take in this matter unless it was illegal to swim in that river. In that case, he won't be a repeat violator.

A high school girl committed suicide by jumping into a river in Wangjiang County, Anqing City, Anhui Province. At 13:00 on December 4, 2020, the 110 alarm service desk of the Wangjiang County Public Security Bureau received the report: A woman near the Jishui Bridge in Wangjiang County wanted to throw herself into the river. After receiving the call, the police immediately rushed to the scene for investigation. In the process of the police to appease and persuade, the woman suddenly plunged into the deep water area. The policemen began rescue operations, and later salvaged the woman ashore, but she died after the rescue failed. At present, the cause of the suicide of the deceased is under investigation, and related aftermath work is underway. The public security organs deeply deplored the woman's unfortunate death. |
