This is not appropriate behaviour when you are participating in a forum with other people. One of the weaknesses of this site is that there is no restriction on adding a post to a very old thread, which bumps the thread to the top of the list in that forum for everyone else - pushing fresh content further down. Its a real problem if someone does it to a lot of threads at once. Plenty of people find that very annoying. I did recently email chrischris suggesting a way to prevent this, but its not a priority for him - he's also making lots of other changes to the site right now. There are plenty of people on this site with mental health issues, but if your approach to the community here is to be inconsiderate/disruptive and the become confrontational when called out on it then people are going to start reporting your posts and suggesting to the mods that the site is better off without you. |
