Gym Trainer Shot Dead During Outdoor Training Session
Hansi, Haryana, India A 25-year-old gym trainer, Kapil R., was conducting a morning warm-up session when two men wearing caps and masks arrived on a motorbike. The pillion rider opened fire, hitting Kapil with around nine bullets, primarily in the head and upper body. A female trainee sustained pellet injuries and was hospitalized. According to police, Kapil had a criminal history, and was facing four cases of murder and attempt to murder registered in 2023 and 2024. Hours after the killing, a social media post, purportedly from members of the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang. claimed responsibility. The post alleged Kapil was involved in plotting a recent shootout in the area and had ignored prior warnings. Kapil had also entered into an inter-caste marriage about a year ago with a woman from a different community. No arrests have been made so far. |

Not sure I've seen a lot of gun murder vids from India, at least as compared to central/south america, say. I mean... why not just hand the guy a train ticket, instead?
