HEY YOUR HEART DOES NOT STOP ~! The heart will fire independently of anything or anyone so long as it has oxygen in the muscle fibers. So even if you sever the Vagus nerve or the "one" you're talking about (Cardio-pulmonary splanchnic nerves from spinal chord), your heart will still beat on it's own & often at a significantly accelerated passe!
