A man hanged himself on a light pole on the outer ring of a toll Road, near an exit in East Jakarta on Tuesday (8/5/2018) around 11.15 PM.

The man climbed the pole and hanged himself in front of dozens of onlookers.

The incident shocked a number of young people who were hanging out on one side of the Bridge Toll.

While shouting to the victim to stop his intentions, they also captured the moment with their own cell phones.

The man casually wrapped a rope around his neck and immediately let himself drop from the end of the light pole.

"He was immediately killed after a few twitches for a while" an eyewitness told.
