Absolutely. The way I see it there are 3 things that play a big role in all this. One kind of leads to the other. More people>Everyone has a video recorder now so there's so much exposure, and things that have always happened but have not been seen like today>And this plus other factors I know I'm overlooking just makes it all more complicated than ever before. More pressure, more exposure, more assholes abusing it all, more people seeing bully cops and so on.

I tend to agree. The cop had a right to shoot the perpetrator, however, shooting that many times was a bit extreme. Law enforcement doesn't take a chance when it comes to violence. If a man jumps out of a car and reaches for something (after you've said 'I will shoot you so stop') You open fire.

While a man with a knife may not look to be a threat to an armed police officer at that distance he in fact is. An armed attacker witha aknife or club can close the distance of twenty feet ina a matter of seconds.This has been tried over and over in court.Thos of us who have worked in a position where we have had training have gone over this scenario at length. The shooting was justified. The police officer called the man by name.That indicates to me that he was know by police.Perhaps even known to be dangerous. as for shooting him 13 times well In one section "ErNie" look like he tries to get up.Dod he have a Bp vest on under his shirt? No, but the officer did not know that.He must put the guy out of action Double tap.... 6 times
