If your life is potentially in danger, do you shoot once and hope you got him? No. You chuck as many bullets as you can to make sure he is down. I saw this in an earlier comment, something like, "Excuse me kind sir, would you please put your hands above your head?" No. You tell them to stop moving, put their hands up. They keep moving or reach for something, you don't have any time to consider the possibilities, or that he could be reaching for a lolly pop to give to you. You don't wait to see if it's a lolly pop or a hand gun. You react. I covered this in a previous post a page back. |
