What total fucking BS. He didn't get confused, he intentionally kept walking away from the officer and ignoring his commands ALL WHILE KEEPING HIS HANDS OUT OF SIGHT AS IF HE HAD A WEAPON. His end goal was suicide by cop. Yes, his blood alcohol level was over the legal limit. He likely wouldn't have attempted SBC if he was sober. The cop was clearly in shock, as any sane human being would be after taking a life, and therefore reverted back to his lowest level of training. Note how he was checking pockets, keeping the subject face down, exactly as procedure mandates. Should he have done more to attempt to save the dude's life? Yes. Was he in a calm enough state of mind that he could think clearly enough to render aid? Probably not. I don't see any malicious intent here, just poorly trained cops relying on a broken, inherently racist system. Could this cop have been racist? Did race play a part in the outcome? Possibly. |

Well from an analysis stand point. Even if he had earphones yea you stop because a cop has a gun pointed at you. The cops are programed to say shit instantly in a shooting. His partner said pretty quick "Yea, he was reaching for something" that's to justify the shoot as quick as possible. Then for more shame it sounds like you hear a Paramedic ask the cop "Are you OK, you ok...are you good...relax and breath" it sounds pretty fucked up that you don't hear anything on Paramedics attempting to aid the guy that's bleeding out just a Cop who is the killer and that he is ok and shook up after smoking some poor innocent bystander. No wonder way back in the 80's NWA said "Fuck The Police"
