Looking at this screen shot, the green circles show what looks to be a light pole or telephone pole impact on the rocker and A-pilar hoop as well as likely curb impact on the right rear rim. Im betting they were showing off/speeding, spun out, off the side of the road and got a YUUUGGGEE dose of, "ak-rite"...

Her face isn't missing, it's all ground up. It looks like she impacted on the bridge of her nose and scrushed/snapped the face off her skull. Her face is basically a sack of bones. With some skilled surgeons and assuming her optics are intact under there she could live a relatively normal life albeit disfigured.
