Re: Girl (4) Falls Six Stories

And this story reminded me of the some of the 9/11 jumpers, who tried to create a makeshift parachutes with their shirts when jumping. Profoundly sad, tragic image.

Re: Girl (4) Falls Six Stories

Girl, five, fights for life after jumping out of window with umbrella 'like cartoon character who used a parasol to fly'

  • Girl was left locked in a room alone while her father was at the gym
  • She survived the fall but suffered multiple fractures and is in intensive care
  • Her tragic fall was captured on CCTV near to where she hit the ground

That is exactly what I thought of...Mary Poppins.
That is terribly sad.
Just like in Mary poppins...A spoon full of sugar helps the medicine go down "song"
I tried that when i was little as well...and It didn't help either. Too bad she didn't try that instead of the umbrella. So sad. Shame on that DAD. He needs to be held accountable for that poor baby being alone.

Re: Girl (4) Falls Six Stories

Why am I not surprised that this happened in China? I wonder if that umbrella slowed her down, just enough, to save her life.

Re: Girl (4) Falls Six Stories

They should throw the fucking dad out the window with out an umbrella, and make sure he landed on the concrete.

Re: Girl (4) Falls Six Stories

Yeah this is kind of like the time I saw this scene from a movie with an apple pie, but I didn't wait for it to cool down. 2nd and 3rd degree burns make me wish I jumped out of a 6 story building

Re: Girl (4) Falls Six Stories

The story behind the jump makes it real sad. But I would think she would heal real well since it happened at such a young age... (hopefully)
