The first customer definitely saw him and ran away. The lady was running away, she might’ve been the one who opened the door and threw something at the guy at the beginning. The other customers didn’t entirely scan the part of the room they were in and it makes sense, I’m the same way. When I walk into a store, are you gonna stare at a stranger? I just move my eyes past them and look where I’m going. I could walk past someone I know and not notice because I wasn’t trying to make eye contact with every person I walked by.

I actually teach people the polar opposite. The eyes will tell you much about the person and give you signs if they are a threat...
