Re: Gambian Chest Transgressions
That has been on my "to read" list for 15+ years, along with Ivan Denisovich. Speaking of Soviet literature, I recently finished The Foundation Pit by Andrei Platonov, which was a very interesting peek into how Stalin's collectivization programs destroyed all hope and the will to live. It is fucking dark, like "the birds cried out in horror at the pain of existence, their tortured song heard by no one, forced to endure their heart still beating, and finding no relief in death."

Re: Gambian Chest Transgressions
Ya he definitely was copping a feel. He damn sure didn't bother to try to clear the airway first and have someone else ready to do the breathing. So sad. She might have been able to be revived if they were adequately trained. RIP young lady. |
