There was also a man in the car, sounded like he was on the driving side... It also looked that maybe the driver had a green light still...This is the reason to look both ways like 4 times because in the blink of an eye...this could happen...whether or not you walk in the "zebra lines" |

I count 4 seconds from the time they started walking to the time they were hit. She could have been checking her mirrors, her speed, her sides...she wasnt speeding thats for sure, BUT....when I cross the street, I make damn sure Im not going to get hit by oncoming traffic. This woman had no business walking her kid in front of oncoming traffic.

Mother didn't wait for car to stop at the crossing. Driver didn't brake and only noticed the pedestrians at impact so must of been on a phone or head turned to a passenger. They were in the road for 4sec this driver did not have a clue what was on the road for 4 - 5 sec. The driver should of seen the pedestrian crossing which pedestrians have right of way for 15 sec before impact and seen them waiting to cross. This driver should loose driving licence for life. |

How is the driver not paying attention? We don't see her. It seems to me the car is doing a normal steady speed. She hasn't gone through any red lights or stop signs. In my opinion the ONLY thing that could have prevented this were the pedestrians not walking across the street at that moment.

YOU'RE fucking stupid. Just because there is a crosswalk does not mean you walk out into the road without any fucking discretion. they BOTH have should paid attention. Mainly the pedestrian. Because of her, She's most likely maimed and crippled and her daughter probably died. Think twice before YOU cross the street. Or breed.
