Multiple shots are common. Multiple shots are appropriate. Multiple shots are generally required to ensure a fatality and/or incapacitation within an acceptable period of time. How the officer got wounded, and from whose gun, has yet to be determined. However the officer was shot, the extent of his wounds and how long the officer could stay conscious and in the fight was likewise unknown. What was known was that the perp was STILL fighting and was STILL a threat. The officer used Lethal Force correctly. One shot is too few. Three is only adequate. Three in the torso and then two or three more in the head would have been preferable.  Whether the cop was scared and/or angry is inconsequential. The perp created a Life threatening situation and deserved whatever he brought upon himself. |

so the noel has no responsibility at all? is it not reasonable to assume he is at least smart enough to know he is caught and live another day? do you really think cops are going to give any lead-way to a guy fighting with a gun?
