New video capturing the fatal 2014 deputy shooting of a man being detained in North Long Beach clearly shows the man was murdered, according to attorneys representing his family. Cellphone footage starts rolling with Sheriffs deputies on top of Noel Aguilar after a foot chase.

“Is it a gun?” deputy Albert Murade asks his partner Jose Ruiz. “It’s a gun, it’s a gun,” Ruiz responds. “You fucking move, I’m going to kill you bitch,” Ruiz tells Aguilar. The two deputies attempt to cuff Aguilar when he wiggles his hand free.

Aguilar tries to get up, holding on to the gated fence nearby. Moments later, after a gunshot rings out, deputy Murade screams and says he has just being shot in the stomach. “I didn’t shoot nobody,” Aguilar says.

After more struggling, Aguilar turns to his side and asks why deputy Ruiz has pulled out his gun out. The deputy then fires a shot into Aguilar’s stomach. His partner quickly reaches for his own gun and fires three shots into Aguilar’s back.

The deputies can be heard saying to each other that Aguilar had tried to grab a hold of their weapons. Authorities said that Aguilar’s gun had been recovered from the scene.

The deputies were cleared of any wrongdoings and both are back on field duty. The firm, representing the family of Noel Aguilar, has filed suit against the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and the two deputies involved in the shooting.

The incident remains under investigation and will be presented to a department investigative committee for final consideration in January.

I am honestly embarressed for the idiot who wrote the article and made the video. A major failure accross the board, clearly an anti-police angle. The suspect's weapon was "clearly" recovered (the video fails miserably to point that out, no surprise). The suspect "clearly" was combative, non-compliant and ARMED, STRUGGLING with officers. The world is just a teeny tinny bit better, with one less gun toting criminal on the streets (no mention of the suspect's criminal record in the article...no suprise)...
