I know skydiving very well and that late turn was intentional. It's called swooping, and is not a regular landing pattern. The pros do it to show off and is much more dangerous than regular skydiving. For people to ignore that he is literally doing a stunt, and to label the entire sport as dangerous/stupid is just ignorant..
