Re: Experienced Skydiver Crashes to the Ground and Dies

I think it's interesting how Russians say "fuck you in the mouth" in terrible situations.
And how Americans are obsessed with everyone's ass.

I love these highly original comments.

Re: Experienced Skydiver Crashes to the Ground and Dies

Russia, Video shows how a parachutist is rapidly approaching the ground, then screaming loudly and falls to the ground. The man was fatally injured and died on the spot.

S.B,(49) an experienced skydiver, made more than 1,000 jumps. In 2019, he took third place in the Russian parachuting championship as part of the "1st place" team in the "Acrobatics - Group - Big Formation" discipline. This is when 16 athletes at once, during a free fall, line up certain figures in the sky.

According to preliminary information, the parachutist did not calculate the distance to the ground when exiting the bend and hit the ground.
Legend says that spine was sent into orbit from that slam to the ground

Re: Experienced Skydiver Crashes to the Ground and Dies

Based on his incoming speed, I’d say he opened late and it looks like he’s trying to flare at the end but pulls that down late too. Maybe he was trying to finish a text and the time got away from him.

this is exactly why you cant play around with shit like this. you may not die today or even a year from now. but eventually the odds will catch up to you.

Re: Experienced Skydiver Crashes to the Ground and Dies

He had a fair chance of surviving that shit if he let his body lose & allow it to roll over the ground & not stiffen up as a reflex response. I'm saying this because you're trained for that if you're a professional sky-diver or parachutist or whatever. When you do that, the shock gets distributed to all soft tissues evenly. Yes you'll have a lot of broken bones & the recovery may take well over a year but you'll be alive & might as well go back to doing that shit all over again !

Re: Experienced Skydiver Crashes to the Ground and Dies

I found this story a couple days ago. It’s about two friends that we’re base jumpers and wing suit flyers where one died immediately after a jump and the other witnessed his friend die. You don’t see the impact or aftermath of the guy who died, but you hear the details from his best friend who was powerless to do anything to rescue or aid his friend in his final moments. Given that you don’t actually see the death I didn’t think it really deserved it’s own post, so here ya go.
For some reason I really enjoyed this. I watched it like 10 times. Thanks for posting

Re: Experienced Skydiver Crashes to the Ground and Dies

I feel like in the first video the way he whipped himself around that he like, almost flung himself into the ground at the end

Re: Experienced Skydiver Crashes to the Ground and Dies

Stupid move.
Anyone who knows skydiving know late turns are #1 reason for fatalities.
Never turn that sharp under a specific alt.
