Experienced Skydiver Crashes to the Ground and Dies
Russia, Video shows how a parachutist is rapidly approaching the ground, then screaming loudly and falls to the ground. The man was fatally injured and died on the spot. S.B,(49) an experienced skydiver, made more than 1,000 jumps. In 2019, he took third place in the Russian parachuting championship as part of the "1st place" team in the "Acrobatics - Group - Big Formation" discipline. This is when 16 athletes at once, during a free fall, line up certain figures in the sky. According to preliminary information, the parachutist did not calculate the distance to the ground when exiting the bend and hit the ground. |

Ouch! That'll leave a bruise. Bit surprised he made that mistake after 1000 jumps.. After 1000 (i think) you are statistically probable to have had to use your emergency chute at least once.
