There is such a phenomenon as outbreeding depression, the exact opposite of inbreeding depression, and there’s significant evidence of it occurring in mixed race offspring, so ‘fertile’? Sure. ‘Healthy’ well, not so much (at least likely not as much as either of the two parents within their own clade.)

Race is far more than just skin deep. In your example it’s about half a million years of divergent evolution under dramatically different environmental and social conditions leading to nontrivial differences in every major organ system. In any species but human we’d be labeling the major continental racial divisions as distinct subspecies (and in fact they did do that until they realized that it classified sub-Saharan Africans as a type of archaic human then they were forced to change it.)
