While I noticed he doesn't have shoes on, I thought perhaps the electrocution blew his shoes off. That's not uncommon. Blows them off, and when they're ankle high boots, it just blows the bottoms out of them. lol.

That, that is why here in Europe we attach an Earth Cable before you start working on such cables... If, "if" , someone accidentally puts Electra back on you blow all safety fuses and burn down some transformator down the line, but at least the technician is sort of safe |

Kind of hard to tell from the pics but I don't think the transformer was energized from the looks of those switches above the tranaformer, he must have been working on the top lines and fell onto the transformer after getting shocked. That's why we use grounds incase of something like this
