Elderly Woman Dead After Falling from a Rescue Helicopter
Ten days ago an elderly woman died after falling from a rescue helicopter as Japan was hit by the strongest storm in six decades. The 77-year-old fell about 130 feet to the ground after she was accidentally dropped during an airlift on Sunday. She was in a state of cardiopulmonary arrest and was sent to the hospital that confirm her death. In the afternoon, the Tokyo Fire Department apologized for the incident at a press conference held at the headquarters building. At least 35 people have so far been killed by Typhoon Hagibis, which has brought record levels of rain and left some 425,000 homes without power. |

Re: Elderly Woman Dead After Falling from a Rescue Helicopter
She was already mortified by the rescue to have to actually undergo the 130ft fall.. she was better off left on the ground |
