~ I used to live in Mexico, lead-footed bus drivers have no respect for anyone if they are on a route, besides always missing schedules, unless they are stopped for their earned 'extended' break. ~ If you are disabled or elderly you would most probably get runover just trying to catch & get on the bus, in 5 seconds flat. ~ And if you were some wayward neglected or untethered kid who just ran off into the street all excited from delusional freedom, then flattened watermelon is what became of them ~ Their usual excuse is that they didn't see anybody because they were in a hurry to meet their scheduled bus stops. ~ REM: In Mexico cars are allowed to make right turns on a red light, yellow, or green light for that squashed matter. |

Frankly, the driver is a piece of shit, because, at the wheel, you'd have to be either blind or a complete idiot not to see those thick, vivid bright yellow lines making up the pedestrian crossing, and prepare in advance as you approach, by looking in both directions preemptively, to see if there are any pedestrians within the designated crossing and give them the right of way. Yeah, the geriatric, senile Mexican Usain Bolt here fouled up big time—but the driver is guilty of aggravated fucking vehicular manslaughter up the wazoo. I must commend the Mexican Road Commission however, for the sheer visibility of that paint color, as opposed to that stupid, ineffective gray-white they use in most other countries, which blends with the surrounding structures and pavement and increasing the likelihood of accidents and the maiming and deaths of pedestrians—fuckers might as well use camouflage paint on those damn zebras.  |
