My Dad drove a truck for over 45 years and said one of his scariest moments was when he was stopped at an intersection and about to pull away when he saw a small tuft of something blue just in front of his truck and stepped on the brakes. He got out and a little old lady with a walking frame and a hat with a blue feather was walking ever so slowly right in front of his truck. If she didn't have that fucking feather in her hat then he would have killed her.
