Elderly man is ramming over by a bull

A man suffered a serious injury after being charged by a bull on Wednesday afternoon in La Cruz de Guanacaste.

The information was confirmed by an official surnamed Castro, from the Red Cross committee in that sector, who indicated that the incident was registered at about 5:00 p.m. in Caoba.

As shown in the images, the man was participating in some bullfights in a bullring, when the bull charged him with one of its horns.

The 65-year-old victim suffered a wound in the abdomen, with evisceration, and was taken in critical condition to a local medical center.

The identity of the man was not disclosed.

Preliminary versions indicate that the bullfights that were taking place in the area were clandestine. However, this information has not been confirmed by the authorities.

Death of man ramming by bull in Guanacaste confirmed

The Costa Rican Social Security Fund (CCSS) confirmed the death of a man, who was charged by a bull last Wednesday in Cruz de Guanacaste.

The victim was treated at the Enrique Baltodano hospital, in Liberia, but died early this morning, as a result of the injuries he presented, according to the Press Office of the entity.

The man, surnamed L., was participating in a clandestine bullfight in the sector of Caoba, when the bull rammed him with one of its horns, as shown in the images.

As a result of the charge, the 65 year-old victim suffered a wound in his stomach, with evisceration. He underwent surgery, but died at the medical center.

I love videos such as this. Hat's off to the bull! I have no sympathy for anyone who gets injured in this so called "sport". I feel sorry for the bull too; It's animal abuse, without any good purpose whatsoever.
