Elderly Man, On Back of Pick-Up Truck Bus, Falls Onto the Road
Santiago Nonualco, El Salvador Florencio C., aged approximately 80, was travelling on the back of a public transport pick-up truck when, as he stepped down in order to get off the pick-up, he lost his grip as the pick-up went over a speed bump. He was taken to hospital, where he died. |

Yeah seems very safe to stand back there and hold a rope. I'd rather sit but that's just me without 80 years of valuable Latin American life experience.

Forgetting the obviously lethal nature of that transportation (esp for an 80yr old man). It was actually nice to see the people respond quickly to try and help him, rather than just ignore him. Poor old chap

I can't believe that in 80 years nobody ever thought to teach him that jumping from a moving vehicle is not advisable. Especially if you're 80 years old  . Poor guy, I guess he wanted off, so off he went, never to return   |
