Re: East New York Nurse Hit and Run Over by a Backhoe Loader
I have sympathy, someone died that actually spent their life helping others. It's the pieces of shit that spend their lives without contributing anything to society but expense and headaches that seem to live forever.

Re: East New York Nurse Hit and Run Over by a Backhoe Loader
Speaking of cell phone bullshit, when I was younger and not fat, I used to do triathlons. I spent a lot of time on the road cycling. I started back in 1995, before cell phone craziness. Biggest hazards back then were old people, distracted soccer moms with 6 kids in the car, and the occasional redneck who resented the fact I was on "his road". Starting in the early 2000's, I had had close call after close call after close call and it was 100% these fuck faces who can't function for 10 consecutive minutes without their phone. The last couple of years before I gave it up, I used an indoor trainer and literally the only time I was on the road when for a race.

Re: East New York Nurse Hit and Run Over by a Backhoe Loader
I used to work on the trains, in recent years one of our most common cause of fatality on the network was due to people with their heads down looking at their phone screens. looks to me like thats exactly what she was doing!
