Re: Dominican Republic: Two Hit & Killed By Out Of Control SUV
Sadly, this tragedy is the reflection of the DR. The woman driving the "yipeta" is probably a well-connected person with financial means that will never face justice. Those land cruisers are very expensive in the DR. You can buy several Dominican Republic average apartments for the price of that yipeta. Rich people in the DR do not care about the have-nots. It has been the story of the republic since it was founded. The wealth gap will continue to increase.

Re: Dominican Republic: Two Hit & Killed By Out Of Control SUV
The roads in DR are a total shitshow. I was recently there for a month and a couple teenagers on a moped were killed down the block by a car, watched my taxi driver run over a dog, everyone drives like they want to be on this site.
