This reminds me of something my dad said once. If you have a running car, you've got a very effective weapon. If he'd have floored it when the shithead twins were trying to stop him, they'd have been the ones that would have ended up in the hospital.

if that car wasn't in "park" it could have easily rolled forward after the driver was shot and pinned their bike, then they'd be fucked.

most [normal]people are reluctant to enter kill mode based just on a "hunch", especially when totally surprised. there was no gun displayed until the moment of the shots. |
