As a rifle collector I buy & sell collectable military rifles. I do it legally and I have a right to bear arms. when a mentally challenge person cracks doesn't matter the weapon people are going to die. In my option the officer did not handle the situation and did not have command. I am sure this vet showed signs of downward mental state and his weapons should be held til he is deem fit. But to restrict the rest of us because of people like this is like taking cars away from everybody because a drunk driver kills somebody. Lastly the police in this case was under powered with a 9mm. If he had a .45 and went to the car so he knew what was going on the officer would have gotten the drop on the vet as a rifle inside the truck is not an easy thing to move around. Ultimately the police was giving a ticket to a vet who took all his baggage out on the cop. |

amen bro. dumb mother fucker probably said get back or something like it fifty times before letting himself get shot.  three warnings maximum then POW.. lights out. after shooting him in the leg at least.   |

That cop gave him wayyy too many warnings!, seeing and knowing what kind of weapon the perpetrator had, he shouldn't have given him a chance!
