I just watched this on youtube, well linked from youtube anyway. Story is the officer hesitated to much for too long and opened fire on the crazed veteran. The suspect actaul had an M1 rifle which could be even more powerful than the almighty AK-47. If you notice, the officer opens fire on the veteran but his .40 cal pistol rounds bounce off of the suspect as he is wearing a vest. The whole thing is just horrible.....such is life.
