You don't. So what's *truly* sad is that one person's post about what they freely choose to do as a voluntary courtesy at a traffic stop can be viscerally misinterpreted as evidence of an entire country's policies by people who are looking for any reason to overgeneralize and overreact.

I completely agree, but I'd rather go through a few common sense precautions and know I have the liberty to own firearms than the other choice, which is rely on the police instead of myself. But I agree.
