In San Vicente, Manabí province, Ecuador, a husband and wife were killed inside a public transport bus after sicarios entered the vehicle and shot them multiple times. The deceased were preliminarily identified as Kléver A. and Melissa M. San Vicente is a tourist spot, and it is known that Kléver and Melissa hailed from another town. However, the town has suffered from increasing levels of violence - in March this year, the town's 27-year-old mayor, Brigitte García, was shot and killed alongside an aide.   |
