Going anywhere near the bodies of water inhabited by crocs is a bad idea. I grew up in Florida and at least with gators they aren't known for attacking from the water but crocs purposely hunt from the shallow water near shoreline.

Like polar bears and tigers, salties are one of the few animals that will actively hunt humans. It’s just so funny to me that in civilized cultures you’ll have people that people won’t swim in the ocean over the low chance of being attacked by a shark. Meanwhile people in Indonesia will get in a lake while being actively hunted by a prehistoric predator. I’m starting to believe that ‘precaution’ is one of those words that doesn’t have a direct translation to these countries. |

like it or not.. the video of the croc swimming is indeed beautiful. i love those creatures. Sad the guy had to go that way. hopefully no hard was done to the croc.
