Because the president gave lots of incentives to the police, allowing those who are corrupt to continue doing their nasty jobs. Also remember that the police chief here did a blatant quarantine violation by partying last April, that's why no one trust them anymore, the bad cops outnumber the good ones.

The problem with Philippine politics and why we remained bad even after Marcos was taken out is because of the poor quality of education and economy. Majority of those who voted for Duterte (and every other president before him) were the poor people, those without access to proper education. Politicians here know that they can't convince the rich and educated class, so they prey on the poor using appeal to emotion to propel themselves into power, exactly what Duterte did 4 years ago.

Where is proof this mom and son were drug dealers? They aren’t just executing alleged drug dealers. There was also reports saying that if anyone was...acting inappropriate in re to covid rules that they too can be executed. Seems all these cops/cop lovers have to do is just Think that someone is doing something “wrong” and they are allowed to execute. |
