Serious question for anyone who actually knows........is there anything non toxic that can be shot at a person that disables them immediately? When other lives are at risk, lethal force is permitted where applicable, etc. Remember they're called to serve and PROTECT! And you fire at "center of mass" until the target is no longer a possible threat, i.e. not moving...

I'll never understand why these cops don't just shoot this guys in the legs so they can take him down, i mean he has a knife, if he goes down, he is harmless, why shoot to kill? If he has a gun then is a different story, but its a knife, just shoot him in the legs and take him down

You think he can't fatally stab the officers as they move in to subdue him... IF he drops? His hand holds the knife, not his legs.

What makes you think the guy will drop if shot in the legs? What makes you think they will hit his moving legs..it's hard enough to hit center of mass in the heat of the moment while making a split second decision..... freaking tasers will drop the biggest bull and they had no effect on this guy.

Who caused this scenario?...who had the knife? who refused to drop the knife. who had to take action to insure this guy wouldn't hurt some inside? That's what they did.

Now... do we know what occurred leading up to the point where the filming starts?
